First edition with the notes and commentaries of Georgius Pictoriu, a physician and professor of medecine at Freiburg who was the author of several neo-Latin poems on witchcraft. This is the first of at least two editions of Macer Floridus illsustrated with these woodcuts, taken from Petri's editions of Crescentiis (1538 and 1548).
