Cartouche shaped, surmounted by an urn draped with ribbon-tied laurel swags, the drop cast with acanthus and berries, white enamel dial with arabic minute numerals enclosing roman chapters, pierced gilt fleur-de-lis hands, the timepiece movement between tapered and shaped rectangular plates, anchor escapement, thread suspension to pendulum, pull repeat with two hammers on bell, 1780s--15¾in.
