AN UNUSUAL LOUIS XV ORMOLU-MOUNTED KINGWOOD AND TULIPWOOD BUREAU MID-18TH CENTURY
With moulded rounded rectangular hinged quarter-veneered crossbanded top opening to a similarly veneered fitted interior with a quarter-veneered drop front and enclosing pigeonholes, ten short drawers and an inset-leather writing surface, above two short drawers, the angles mounted with pierced cabochon pomegranates and foliate scrolls, above splayed legs and C-scroll foliate cabochon sabots--41in. (102.5cm.) high, 46½in. (116.2cm.) wide, 28½in. (71.2cm.) deep
