Shamus Culhane worked as an animator for many different studios thoughout his career including Paul Terry, Max and Dave Fleischer, Iwerks, Disney, Warner Bros., Walter Lantz, John Hubley and Richard Williams. Mr. Culhane was known throughout his life for animating the sequence High Ho High Ho! when the seven dwarfs come back from the mine in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. He was also the animator of Gideon and Honest John in Pinocchio, highlighted by the sequence of Honest John smoking a cigar. This electic group of artwork represents the true life of a talented animator.
