A circa 1920 photograph of the immensely popular silent screen heroine who toured with her sister Dorothy in "The Little Red Schoolhouse"; both siblings were introduced to D.W. Griffith by actress Mary Pickford. Signed in black ink on the right corner Lillian Gish. Together with a photograph of her sister and star of the 1927 Madame de Pompadour, signed on the left corner Kind wish from Dorothy Gish --10 x 8 in. and smaller.
