GERMAN, 18TH CENTURY

The wide rim cast with large flowers, the underside inscribed 'A-R', with indecipherable mark ----- 7 5/8 in. (19.4 cm.) diameter; together with a pewter plate engraved overall with putti and animals peaking through foliate scrolls, the basin with a lion chasing a dove, the rim inscribed 'DS' as a monogram within a shield and dated '1734' within a similar shield, underside with a French pewter mark and that of I.A. Petzoldt, Dresden ----- 9 5/8 in. (24.5 cm.) diameter; and a small pewter Biblical plate, the center with The Sacrifice of Noah and dated '1619', the rim with the story of Adam and Eve within oval panels, unmarked ----- 6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) diameter
