TWO SMALL CANTON ENAMEL VESSELS
18TH CENTURY

One a quatrefoil wine cup painted on the interior with blossoms scattered on a white ground, the exterior of ruby-red color, and with a gilt-metal handle formed as a bamboo twig to one side; the other a flattened ovoid snuff bottle, decorated with a pink dragon leaping above a green carp rising from waves on a yellow ground, with gilt-metal loops applied to the foot and shoulder, both with some restoration--cup 2 3/4 in. (7cm.) across handle
