A WHITE-OVERLAY DEEP-BLUE BEIJING GLASS TRIPOD JAR AND COVER

Carved through a semi-translucent white overlay with three bifurcated-tailed chilongs amongst clouds to the deep blue globular body, standing on short pad feet, the cover with bud finial and two white overlay bands, some air bubbles - 5 1/8 in. (13 cm.) high

A tripod glass incense burner with dragons around the sides but of more compressed form is in the Robert H. Clague Collection, illustrated by Brown and Rabiner in the Catalogue, Phoenix Art Museum, 1987, no. 22
