A MUGHAL STYLE PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE OCTAFOIL BOWL
18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The thinly carved sides divided into eight lobes, each carved in low relief on the exterior with one of the bajixiang set above a lotus blossom rising from the conjoined leaves which form the surrounding reserve, with the wufu encircling a shou medallion on the slightly raised flower-form center of the interior, the base divided into eight petals by ribs which radiate outwards to the notched foot rim - 5 3/8 in. (13.6 cm.) diam., wood stand
