KANGXI MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD

The deep sides molded with four U-shaped panels containing iron-red dragons separated at the corners by underglaze blue inscriptions on white slip panels, below pairs of blue archaistic dragons alternating with flowerheads within white slip borders, the interior decorated in famille verte with a dragon medallion below a keyfret band interrupted by flower sprig reserves at the slightly bowed rim, all within double line borders in underglaze blue, firing crack in foot rim--6 1/2in. (16.5cm.) across, wood stand
