A PAIR OF VICTORIAN THREE-LIGHT CANDELABRA, maker's mark of Stephen Smith, London, 1873, each on partly domed base, the base and one knop to the tapering cylindrical fluted stem chased with panels of Classical portrait medallion within Renaissance style scroll surround, between plain flute, and below with caryatid motif, the top of the stem with box issuing ribbon and applied floral and foliate hanging swag, and two elaborate foliate and flowerhead scrolling branches, supporting stiffleaf clad spreading circular nozzles with serrated rims, with similar central light--20in.
