A VICTORIAN THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, Sheffield, 1838, maker's mark of Samuel Walker & Co., comprising teapot, two handled covered sugar bowl and cream jug, each circular bombe, on four elaborate foliate scroll feet, the body engraved with shaped panels of stylized shell enclosed by trelliswork within foliate scrolls, with partly reeded scroll handles, the pot with flat hinged cover similarly engraved and topped by baluster foliate finial--the teapot 6in. (15.2cm.) high, gross weight 45.5oz.
