A GEORGE IV THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, London, 1826, maker's mark of Benjamin Smith II, comprising teapot, cream jug and two handled sugar bowl, each molded compressed circular, the first two on three, the bowl on four, foliate scroll feet, with chased acanthus above the feet, the cream jug and sugar bowl with foliate scroll handles with bifurcated join, the teapot with acanthus chased squat spout, acanthus topped partly reeded loop handle, with foliate joins, with shaped eliptical collar with applied reeded rim, the raised hinged cvoer topped by cast flower finial--the teapot 6in. (15.2cm.) high, gross weight 54oz.
