A SILVER INKSTAND, altered from a snuffer stand, London, 1814, maker's mark of Robert Garrard I, in the George II style, shaped oblong with waisted sides, on four scroll feet, the ground applied with two gradrooned square rim frames for the two glass bottles with silver conforming silver crested, hinged covers (one hinge broken), centering engraved crest, with foliate scroll, floral and ruffled shell ended rim--9½in.
