A CONTINENTAL FIVE-PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE, probably Italian, late 19th Century, comprising teapot, coffee-pot, water or milk-jug, covered sugar-bowl and cream-jug, each fluted pear-form, on four lion's paw feet with acanthus join, the shoulder with chased rocaille band, the pots with leaf-capped wood scroll handle, partly covered fluted spout, the raised hinged cover topped by cast flowerspray finial--the coffee-pot 10in. (25.4cm.) high, gross weight 92oz.
