A FOUR PIECE TETE A TETE SILVER TEA SERVICE, maker's mark of Wood & Hughes, circa 1870, comprising teapot, two handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each ovoid, on shaped rim foot, two sides with vacant oval cartouche, the remainder chased with flowering foliage on matted ground, with plain angular handle, the teapot with plain spout, raised, partly decorated, hinged cover topped by baluster finial--7¼in. (18.4cm.) high, gross weight 28.5oz.
