Raveley's Express, Canon Creek (Cal.) Paid, mostly bold handstamped double oval express company frank, used with mostly clear Weaverville Cal. datestamp and 'Paid 3', on grey folded letter datelined Dec. 2, 1855 at 'Canon Cittu, Trinity Cal.', to Coloma Cal., contents a good miner's letter, edge tears and internal separations, light toning, still quite presentable and nearly fine, very scarce, this company operated from Weaverville to the Trinity River mining camps, Nathan described but did not illustrate this marking
