'Paid', used with 'Nevada City Cal. 3 Paid' townmarking with integral, plus 'Paid 3', together making up the 6c trans-continental rate, on brown cover, to Bristolville Oh., minor edgewear, still quite fresh and very fine, very scarce, this company operated from Nevada City to the colorful-named Red Dog, Little York and Gough Eye, Nevada county sites, ca. 1851-1853
