Of vase-shaped form on four matted acanthus scroll feet, the body elaborately repousse and chased with chinoiserie figures within an architectural landscape, each side with a cartouche, one engraved with the inscription BW to WMW, enclosed by foliate scrolls and flowerheads and surmounted by a bird, the neck with similar floral swags, with foliate clad sweeping scroll spout and handle with ivory insulators, the hinged domed cover with similar decoration and bud-form finial, marked--13¼in. high
