A FEDERAL GILTWOOD AND VERRE EGLOMISE MIRROR
LABELLED "M. O'CONNER, " NEW YORK, 1790-1810

The molded cornice with outset corners hung with spherules above a frieze decorated with anthemia amid polygonal reserves flanked by dancing maenads above a panel painted with a bouquet of flowers within a lozenge reserve amid floral sprays over a rectangular plate centered by rope-carved colonettes with foliate capitals (repairs to maenads)--43 1/2 x 25 1/4in.
