In three sections: the upper part with upswept scrolling pediment surmounted by urn-shaped finials above a molded cornice; the middle section with a pair of Roman arch-glazed cupboard doors enclosing an interior fitted with shelves over a small drawer and pigeonholes with fret-carved valances; the lower section with hinged rectangular baize-lined writing surface over four cockbeaded graduated long drawers flanked by reeded colonettes with foliate capitals on vasiform feet (repairs to pediment)--82 1/2in. high, 44 1/4in. wide, 23in. deep
