Of circular form, the oval spreading foot raised on four bead feet, with bud-form stem, the bayonet-fitted lighter with baluster slip on cap with openwork bead decoration and amber glass bead finial, the two swing side handles issuing from foliage, one with amber glass bead, the other missing, the cap with a link chain joining it to one handle, the base engraved John Francis Neylan, Gertrude Wiseman Neylan, May 7, 1911-1936, marked 73--6 7/8in. (17.5 cm.) high
