A LARGE FOUR LIGHT CANDELABRUM, maker's mark of Elkington & Co., 1850, the fluted tapering stem sandwiched between matted strapwork enclosing ovals and stylized foliage, on highly raised shaped trefoil base on three multi rocaille bordered scroll feet borders, centering conforming panels, above with screw in openwork central stem issuing foliate fluted campana form socket and detachable nozzle, the three reeded foliate scroll branches and lights fitting on top or into lower part of the stem, with three detachable foliate scrolls fitting into vacant reserves--27½in. (69.8cm.) high
