A GEORGE III SILVER HOT WATER JUG, London, 1795, maker's mark R ?C in serrated rectangle, chased later, vase on oval foot chased with flowers, the body engraved with coat of arms one side, crest the other, the remainder chased with putti, flowers, scrolls, and scalework on matted ground, the neck chased with flowersprays on similar ground with rocaille borders, with upswept wood handle, the hinged partly domed cover also decorated and topped by ball finial--13in.
