A VICTORIAN IRISH SILVER CHINOISSERIE STYLE COFFEE POT, Dublin, 1867, maker's mark probably that of James Moore & Edward Murphy, compressed circular with plain spreading neck, on four foliate scroll feet with shell apron between, the mid section chased and engraved with panels of a Chinese figure on matted ground, two with asymetrical cartouche, one engraved with crest, panel at end of handle with pagoda scene, the spout front with similar chasing, the back with pagoda, with part bold foliate scrolls spout, the everted wavy collar with similar motifs, the hinged cover with raised, conformingly chased center, with reclining, bottle holding, Chinaman, finial--10¼in. (26cm.) high, gross weight 32.5oz.
