A QUEEN ANNE AND A GEORGE I MATCHING CANDLESTICKS WITH A PAIR OF MODERN THREE LIGHT BRANCHES, candlesticks London, the first 1702, maker's mark apparently lacking; the second, 1719, maker's mark of Simon Pantin I, the branches and wax pans unmarked, each on stepped octagonal base, the dished ground engraved with coat of arms, rising to partly fluted, double knopped, tapering stem, supporting vase form socket applied with girdle, with detachable octagonal nozzle with reeded rim, below detachable central light centered by two panelled multi scroll branches supporting conforming sockets and wax pans-- the candlesticks 6¼in. (15.8cm.) high, 23oz.; with branches 11½in. (29.2cm.) high, 57oz.
