A FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, maker's mark Gorham, 1915, comprising tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, two handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each fluted urn form with plain necks, on two lion's paw and scroll bracket feet, two sides with ovoid cartouche, one monogrammed, with foliate shell applied collar, the pots with acanthus clad spout, the tubular question mark handle chased with reeds and cornucopia, the hinged molded raised cover topped by oval flowerhead finial; the tea kettle with fixed overhead handle--on stand over handle 13¼in. (33.6cm.), gross weight 140oz.
