A THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, maker's mark of William Gale & Son, 1851, comprising teapot, two handled covered sugar bowl and cream jug, each urn form with canted corners, on four foliate scroll feet, one side engraved in script R. Ketcham, with foliate clad multi scroll handle, with applied foliate scroll collar, the teapot with trelliswork and floral part engraved spout, the hinged high domed cover topped by foliate cluster finial--the teapot 10½in. (26.6cm.) high, gross weight 60oz.
