A PAIR OF VICTORIAN SILVER SAUCE BOATS, London, 1842, maker's mark of John S. Hunt, each very deep oval, on three curling scroll feet with asymetrical join, the front engraved with coat of arms, helm, and lion and horse supporters, the other side with crest and motto, with applied reeded and foliate wavy rim, with rocaille centering the foliate capped shell joined, scroll handle, engraved underneath base HUNT & ROSKELL LATE STORR & MORTIMER--length over handle and spout 8in.
