Dub, the shell shaped bowl with rim chased to resemble cascading water, on raised circular base chased with flutes below interlocking scrolls, acanthus and rocaille on matted ground, on four partly pierced foliate scroll feet, the valve applied with Classical, armor clad, running maiden, holding a torch applied with a wreath, centered by bird and cupid in pursuit--18½in. (46.9cm.) high, 80oz.
