A CONTINENTAL SILVER CAKE BASKET, apparently unmarked, probably German, oval, on four openwork foliate scroll feet, the ground chased and engraved with infant wild Bacchanalian scene, the raised sides repousse and chased two sides with broad panel of fruit, the ends with vacant cartouche, all divided by husk festoon applied pierced diaperwork, with multi scroll rim--12¾in.
