A LONG DRESS FOR SCOTTISH DANCING, BY CATHERINE WALKER
The long-sleeved black velvet bodice is piped in scarlet velvet with a square neckline. The waist and cuffs are cut to a point as is the bustline. The full skirt is of green, black and red silk in plaid design, worn over a black organza and black tulle petticoat, embroidered with tulle flowers. The Princess wore this dress to dance at Balmoral, and at The Guildhall to benefit The Royal Marsden Hospital Cancer Fund.
