Christie's is delighted to offer this magnificent selection from
the cellar of an important Midwestern collector. The current owner
has long cultivated a passion for wine, and is a member of the
Confrerie des Chevaliers au Tastevin, Chaîne des Rotisseurs and
The International Wine and Food Society, as well as part owner of
a Napa Valley winery. Amassed over the past twenty-five years, the
collection has been cellared under ideal conditions: an underground
cellar which maintains a temperature of 55° and humidity of
60 . Much of this selection was acquired as futures, and all of the
wines are of excellent general appearance.
