"Deep, though with a tinge of orange maturity at the rim. Fragrant, rich cedary, spicy and scented bouquet; mouthfilling flavor, glowingly heady (13.5 alcohol), incredibly rich, almost chewable, leathery tannic texture. The nose later reminded me of Haut-Brion, earthy, slightly tobacco-like. The eucalyptus hallmark noticeable on the palate. A fabulous mouthful but showing its age." JMB
