cover China, Ichang, 1901, 2c Blue 'Chungking Postal Service' postal card revalued 'one Candarin' in Red, headed Ichang, 1901 registered usage to Germany after the establishment of the Imperial Post and, therefore, most likely a remainder usage, franked with China nos. 113 and 116, tied by Ichang c.d.s., upon arrival in Shanghai additionally franked with French Offices in China nos. 3 and 6, German arrival c.d.s., the card has a framed 'Ichang Sep. 94' d.s. in violet - presumably the date the supply of postal cards was received in Ichang (or revalued) for local use between the cities of Chungking and Ichang, China no. 3 has sealed tear, a few small card toning spots, otherwise very fine, very colorful and a highly unusual usage photo
