Details
Château Latour--Vintage 1926
Pauillac, 1er cru classé.
Excellent neck level and deep color; label with nick and minor stain
"Tasted five times: always good. Impressively deep, rich colour;
crisp, fragrant bouquet of great depth. Cabernet Sauvignon aroma
and a slightly medicinal Pauillac scent. Fairly sweet, fullish,
chunky. Lots of fruit, high extract. Still tannic and the
noticeable acidity merely uplifting the flavour. Last tasted dining
at the château, April 1990. Five stars." JMB
