Hiroshi Yoshida was a keen mountaineer and went climbing in the Japan Alps for about two months every summer.The subjects of this set record the views he saw, camping and the changing weather patterns. A new version of Hodakayama was completed for the series as the original set of blocks were destroyed in the great Kanto earthquake of 1923.
