Comprising a crescent shaped pair, London, circa 1790, maker's mark of Thomas Phipps & Edward Robinson II,with reeded borders and surmounted by a shield engraved with a coat-of-arms supported by openwork reeded scrolls, engraved PORT and SHERRY; another Newcastle, 1819, maker's mark of Thomas Watson, cartouche-shaped, surmounted by the crest of the city of Newcastle, engraved SHERRY; another Birmingham, 1823, maker's mark of R. Mitchell, rectangular, enclosed by an elaborate openwork foliate scroll and grapevine border, engraved HOCK
