The rectangular plain woven ground with applied hanging loops at each top corner, embellished below with a cross-stitched register in pink, brown, orange, light blue, light green, maroon, and dark green, with two small and two large peacocks flanking the date "1850" above two stylized vases of flowers centering a third group of flowers emanating from a heart above the identification "JACOB BUCH," the whole enclosed by a rectangular cross-stitched border and embellished at the bottom with a register of similarly pigmented small peacocks above a double fringed edge and pink border
