Decorated in gold takamaki-e with kirigane and muranashiji details with chidori flying over the scattered pines on the beach at Hamamatsu, all against a roiro-nuri ground, the interior cases nashiji, with coral ojime and ivory netsuke carved in the form of a seated old man drinking sake, signed Koichi- 2 7/8 in. (7.4 cm.)
