Designed on one side with a long dragon flying above cresting waves among billowing clouds and on the other side with Mt. Fuji rising in the distance above further cresting waves, rendered in gold and silver takamaki-e on a kinji ground, with kirigane and togidashi details, the summit of Fuji silver lacquer, the interior cases nashiji, with an agate ojime and ivory netsuke carved in the form of a karako lifting a large bear, signed Jikisai- 3 1/4 in. (8.3 cm.)
