Centering a black and red banded rectangle inscribed with the birth and baptismal record of John Jacob Miller, on 6 July 1786 in Langenschwamm Township in Berks County, the inscribed reserve decorated on each side with red, black and brown fans, tulips and stylized flowers, all enclosed in a conforming border of meandering red, black, yellow and brown scrolling leaves, tulips, stylized flowers, fans and striped triangles, all in a red and black border
