The deep oval bowl molded with four phoenixes with overlapping wings forming the rim decorated in enamels of cobalt blue, orange-red, and acqua richly accented with gilt, the interior painted with a large oval medallion of writhing confronted dragons in acqua, red and gilt bordered by cobalt blue triangular rays, all on a cream crackle ground- 15 1/4 in. (38.5 cm.) long, one phoenix neck restored
