Hanging scroll, colored lacquer on prepared paper, 31.5 x 37.5 cm., signed Zeshin and sealed Koma, mounted on brocade, with fitted and inscribed double-box with hakogaki with certificate signed Ikeda Shinsai kan and dated Meiji 25 haru no hi "On a spring day, Meiji 25 (1892)", and another by Kakanan Chikushin, with an inscription by Taguchi Shinsai on the exterior
