A LOUIS XV ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD AND MARQUETRY TABLE À ÉCRIRE
With later serpentine crossbanded gilt-tooled inset-leather top above a conforming frieze fitted with a central drawer with foliate-cast encadrement inlaid in bois-de-bout with floral sprays, the sides and back similarly inlaid and mounted, on cabriole legs headed by acanthus-cast chutes contunuing to foliate-cast sabots, the ormolu struck with the 'C' couronné poinçon - 28in. (70cm.) high, 27in. (67.5cm.) wide, 16½in. (41.2cm.) deep
