Each with a scrolling foliate pierced backplate and foliate arms with drip pans and nozzles, the ormolu struck with the 'C' couronnée poinçon--17in. (43cm.) high
The 'C' couronnée poinçon was a tax mark in use from March 1745 until February 1749 on any alloy containing copper. (2)
