With cylindrical pillars, going train with verge escapement, fusee now cut for chain, pierced floral balance cock now fitted with coqueret and spring ratchet and pawl mainspring set up, the nag's head striking train with standing barrel, numbered countwheel engraved with rosette, pierced floral detent, gilt dial with flower heads at the corners, later chapter ring, within a purpose made plain case with glazed side panels, the movement mid 17th century -- 75.5mm. width of backplate
