Edouard Koehn (1839-1908) a skilled watchmaker, rose to become, at the age of 35, one of the five partners in the firm of Patek Philippe & Co. Always an innovator, he retired in 1891 to take over H.R. Ekegren, where he introduced a new thin calibre. The following three lots are examples of the work of this superb craftsman. The firm continued under his son, Edouard Jr., until the 1920's.
