The gilt half-plate movement fitted with dust cover with aperture for regulation, flat blued hairspring, bimetallic balance and lever with moustache counterpoises, the rocking bar type setting mechanism, planted on back plate and engaged by crown, white enamel dial with roman chapters, blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds within numbered rose gold case -- 48mm. diam.

The watch employs O. Courvoisier's keyless work, patented 1873. See Huber and Banbery, figs. 43 and 44, for other examples differing in that the setting mechanism is engaged by a button on the band.
