Of circular form, the spreading circular foot with bands of palmettes and beading below an openwork stem formed of four anthemion scrolls terminating in ram's masks, the body with bands of similar palmettes and flowerheads below circular foliate grape cartouches enclosing a classical masks on a matted ground, with two foliate swept handles headed by swans, the cover with applied beaded rim and openwork calyx of honeysuckle and anthemion surmounted by a wreath form handle, marked on base, side and cover--length over handles 8in.
